Our volunteers have the privilege of experiencing small miracles and God’s work on a regular basis. Every one of our volunteers serves an important role in our mission to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Volunteer Positions
Administrative
Greet clients, sign them in, answer phones, review guest paperwork; light computer work.
Showroom
Help clients find what they are looking for, track items that are received, keep shopping area stocked, organized, and tidy.
Food Pantry
Help clients find what they are looking for, track items that are received, keep pantry stocked, organized, and tidy.
Backroom
Help load items into guest vehicles that are receiving/taking donations from our warehouse, help unload items from guest vehicles that are dropping off donations, unload deliveries from food suppliers, and help stock shelves.
Chaplain
Lead clients in private prayer, offer guidance and consolation as needed.
Truck Pickup
Travel to donors location in Helps Outreach truck and pick-up their large items to be donated e.g. furniture, beds, etc. Pick-ups are done weekly on Wednesdays only and hours will vary depending on pickup schedule.
